John Sosio is new as Principal, so Jackson Meingati, the NBTI Chair (and NTC Assistant Manager) gave the report.

NBTI will have 4 sessions in 2008; each 2 weeks long.  There is one NBTI/Board meeting a year, with a special one called for in March to discuss the schools’ Vision and set Policy.  They have 2 new Board members this year.   

Their needs are quality teachers, more students (“Send us your students!”, Jackson said), and they are praying for a special gift of Ksh50,000 to meet their budget this year.

Kenya’s current situation has caused higher prices for groceries and utilities, and visiting teachers from the Nairobi Great Commission School system are cautious to travel to Narok to teach.
