In the last few years, there has been a dramatic increase in the number of HIV/AIDS cases, with over eight-hundred people now registered at the CMF Health Centres to receive treatment, counseling, and other forms of help. There is also an ongoing program of education in the villages related to HIV/AIDS its prevention, treatment, and care of patients and their families affected by it. Expansion of facilities, staff and programs is underway.

There is also an ongoing program of education in the villages all over Maasailand related to HIV/AIDS, its prevention, treatment, and care of patients and their families affected by it. Funding originating from the Center for Disease Control (CDC) in Atlanta, GA, has made possible the good progress in the area of HIV/AIDS. Funds are being sought to build additional staff housing to accommodate those now working with HIV/AIDS patients.
