Having entered the country in 1978, there are now 85 CMF/Maasai churches, with 6,000 people, that are entirely overseen by Maasai leaders, and are part of a national church registered as Community Christian Church (CCC). CMF Kenya/Maasai missionaries continue to work in roles supportive to CCC and the following related ministries.

Three hundred fifty people from the area gathered under this acacia tree in Miton for the ordination of 5 CCC Pastors on December 7, 2008. The day before, 70 people were baptized. What a celebration that weekend!!
